Casey rolled his eyes. “I just said I’d bring them to the hospital’s holiday party.”
“You sure you want me to help decorate them? I’m all thumbs.”
“It’s just a little frosting and sprinkles, so you’ll be fine.” Casey bit his lip. The truth was, he hadn’t yet brought up Christmas. Or Christmas Eve, more specifically. He was nervous George wouldn’t want to spend the time with him. Maybe like Drew, he would expect Casey to spend the day with his own family rather than making it a thing.
“The wheels are turning in that sexy head of yours.”
Casey felt the heat in his face. “I was thinking about Christmas.”
“Anything specific?”
“Your play goes dark on December twenty-third until after Christmas, right?”
George smiled. “It does.”
“And I have to work on Christmas.”
George nodded.
Casey blew out a breath. “Did you…did you want to spend Christmas Eve together?”
