“Guys, you’re not making this any easier,” Sage told them as he put the shirt on and tucked it into his slacks.

Brody smirked. “We’re only trying to get you to relax. You’ve got five minutes until he’s due here. Go comb your hair.”

“Now you’re reallynot helping,” Sage retorted, looking at himself in the mirror. “My hair is fine.”

“Good. Now go answer the door.”

“Why? Oh.” Sage head the bell, crossed his fingers, and dashed down stairs. Flinging open the door, he said, “You’re early.”

“It’s right on six,” Mike replied. “You look good, if somewhat nervous. Relax.”

“Why does everyone keep saying that?”

Mike laughed. “I take it the ghostie boys are here.”

“They were.”

“Are,” Brody said from behind him. “But we’re out of here now.”
