Chapter 67

I had to remember to add Carrie to our list of suspects and tell Brody and the others why.

Janice seemed to be happy enough. Well, as happy as an actress would be when facing a dress rehearsal. I found out why when I overheard her whisper to Olivia, “Tim has been such a sweetheart since we made up.”

“You did?” Olivia replied, seeming surprised.

“Uh-huh. Monday afternoon he came by my place with candy and flowers. We talked, he admitted he hadn’t really had any reason to be jealous of Alan, other than the fact he’s never particularly liked him. He apologized for the argument, and for coming on to Susan to make me jealous in return.” Janice grinned. “We spent the night reallymaking up.”

Olivia laughed. “Now I’mjealous.”

Janice cocked her head. “You don’t even like men, and you’ve got Lydia.”

“I was teasing you.”

“Oh. Okay.”
