Jon Watts heard stories about ghosts but never believed in them ... until he becomes one. &ldquo;Are you surprised?&rdquo; Brody replied. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s been a rough two weeks. At least everyone showed up, as far as I can tell, including our favorite detective and company.&rdquo;


He pointed and I saw he was right. Mike and Sage were standing at one side of the room which had been set aside for the opening night celebration in the dance club. Glenn was with them. I had the feeling, from the sober look on his face, Mike was filling him in on the latest news about Elaine and Carrie.


I found out I&rsquo;d guessed correctly when Glenn whistled to get everyone&rsquo;s attention. When he had it, he announced, &ldquo;Elaine will be released in the morning. She&rsquo;s fine, and, according to Detective Harris, looking forward to coming back on Tuesday.&rdquo;


&ldquo;There goes my fifteen minutes of fame,&rdquo; Marie, the understudy, said. But she was smiling along with everyone else, so I knew she wasn&rsquo;t too upset.
