It took time, and a lot of no way’sand sorta, maybe’sas Gage showed them what was available. Since he was the only mobile one of the three, he got to run around then report back. Finally, he found a place they all agreed on. It was in an area of primarily family homes only a couple of miles from the Quarter. There were three bedrooms—not they’d need that many once Kegan and Ash were on their feet and able to share the largest bedroom with Gage. The plan when that happened was to turn one of the bedrooms into an office and the other into a workout room.
When the time came that they could leave the clinic, Kegan and Ash had finagled their doctors into letting them be released on the same day.
“Where the…How the hell did you get this?” Kegan had asked when Gage picked them up. He was talking about Gage’s Mustang. The last time any of them had seen it was when they’d left their vehicles in a long-term car storage facility before taking out Mason.
