The gym wasn’t very noisy yet, but Dom could hear a decent hum. Kiko checked in and got his table numbers—he had two to accommodate Sarah’s eggs—and Dom dragged everything in while Kiko decorated.
“Just put the kids’ paintings under the table,” said Kiko as he taped a garland of pink eggs to the front of the tables. “We’ll organize them alphabetically when Chad gets in so it’ll be easy to hand them over later.”
Dom rolled his eyes but did as Kiko said. It probably would make everything easier later, but it sounded damned boring. Still, Kiko obviously knew what he was doing. Making the parents drop by the table today to pick up their kids’ art was a good way to get them into the Heartstival and potentially spending money.
