“Car sex is so high school,” he said, texting someone.

“Chad,” snapped Kiko, but Mackenzie didn’t seem to be paying attention either.

“So is it still at Sarah’s but lost? Does Lily have it?”

“My guess is Joe took it,” said Kiko, and Dom nodded. That made sense to him.

“Maybe he was hoping it had a clue,” he said.

“Then where is it now?” asked Katie, before blinking, shaking her head, and laughing. “You’ll get me corrupted into thinking everything’s super important. Sarah could have gotten rid of it herself years ago, too. Maybe it was too painful, the memories from that time.”

Dom glanced over at Kiko and saw he was thinking. The photo album bothered him, and Dom himself hated loose ends. Besides, if there really were photos in there that might unearth Matteo, they ought to find the thing before Gordon did. Kiko’s eyes slid over to Dom.

“The moment this is over, forget I ever mentioned this,” he said, and Dom grinned. This should be good. “Want to search his car?”
