“Oh hey. I was just getting ready to call you.”

“What are you doing tonight?” Starr asked him. “Can I take you to dinner?”

“I was gonna see if you wanted to come eat here. I got good stuff.”

“Yeah? I’d love to.”

“I just really want to see you tonight,” they said to each other at once.

“Sounds like we should make that happen, then,” Starr said, chuckling.

“Come at six?”

“Does that mean if I come at five-thirty I might catch you naked?”

“If that’s what you’re after, why don’t you come at five?”

“What time is it now?”

“Like two forty-five.”

“What if I come at three?”

“Let yourself in,” Mark said. “I’ll be in the bedroom.”
