Mark knew it was excessively Donna Reed of him, and he would have bristled mightily had Starr expressed expectations around it, but the challenge of a perfectly-timed dinner appealed to his practical, problem-solving nature, and he strove to have dinner ready to serve at 7:30 without fail.
