Although Jax’s Hummer was parked on his asphalt driveway, the saltbox house sat empty. After breaking and entering through a downstairs window, having access to the house’s dining room, I checked every room in the place and came up empty-handed, unable to find Jax Sinn. I even investigated his garage, looking for him, and the garden shed at the rear of the property.
Puzzled, I scratched my skull and whispered to myself, “Where are you, Jax? We’re supposed to meet here for dinner. What’s going on?”
