He hopped up. He donned his costume. It was odd to see him in it again, odd but nice. “Why that?” I asked.

“It’ll take technology to fight technology,” he replied, pointing up at the cave.

I nodded. Made sense. And so, I, too, got dressed, my cape blowing in the wind. “I lost my mask,” I told him.

“It’s okay,” he replied. “We have mine. Just put on whatever you have. If we get in, and there are cameras, it’ll be best if no one knows it’s us, the real us.”

Which also made sense. Then again, all I could do was stare at the bulge in his crotch, so what did I know? Plus, he’d clearly forgotten his codpiece, so, again, what choice did I have? Last time: teenager, rampant hormones, yada, yada, yada

We hiked the short distance up. The metal bars looked more menacing in the light of day. Clearly, they were made to be impenetrable. To The Brain, however, nothing was made that couldn’t be broken into, not a government computer, certainly not a measly bunch of bars. Um, fingers crossed.
