Dean looked to Coop.
“My uncle is all I have. I don’t want him out there on his own. He’s the best rescuer and tracker there is, but…”
Dean smiled gently at Coop. “Your uncle will figure it out. Let’s wait and see what he says. I can help, too.”
Colt returned to the kitchen. “Okay, the sheriff texted me the GPS information for both cell phones and the exact time they left their houses. Grab the charger, will you, Coop? We need this set up and ready in case we need to head out.”
Coop and Dean looked at Colt with questions in their eyes because he said when wego out.
“Don’t go jumping the gun. Let’s see what we find.” Colt booted the laptop up. It was a state-of-the-art, satellite-fed computer system, and Colt rattled off some coordinates that Coop wrote down on a log.
Dean thought they must have done this a time or two together since Colt didn’t mention anything to Coop, and Coop knew what needed to be done.
