Chapter 23

“They told us a box of pictures was lost when they moved.”

“Morgan, DNA doesn’t lie.” Megan laid a hand on his. “I know this is a shock. I was bummed out, too, when I first got the results.”

Megan had no idea what Morgan had just been through on this trip. She hadn’t seen the wolves, been told some old Indian was her great uncle. She certainly hadn’t looked into the eyes of a handsome young man named Grey Wolf who made Morgan’s heart falter and had, at the same time, scared him to death. He was more than ‘bummed out’. He was panicked.

“So, what do we do with this information?” he asked, his throat suddenly so dry his voice croaked.

“I think we have to talk to Dad and Mom. We deserve to know the truth about who we really are. And I think you should tell Nate. Not that it’ll make any difference to him. I just think he should know.”
