Janice is the first to speak up, “So we won’t get stuck here for days, but we may lose electricity for a while?”
“That’s about it, Janice,” says Lenore. “At least, we’ll just have to wait and see. Meanwhile, I say we open up some of that wine Nikki and I bought, break out some snacks, and play board games. Anyone for ‘What’s Yours Like?’”
Janice looks worried. “Sounds too risqué for me, and maybe for the young people…”
Lenore and I both laugh at this. “Aunt Janice,” I say. “The youngest person here is Dennis, and he’s nineteen. I think we can all handle whatever the game involves.”
Janice looks a bit put out, but keeps her mouth shut. Lenore and I go to get wine, glasses, and snacks, while Ash goes to the game room to get “What’s Yours Like.”
