"Works okay?" he asked as he walked behind me to get to the desk at the other end of the office. His tool belt clanked as he sat down in front of his computer.
"Yup, just fine. Copy, fax, printing—everything should be online."
"Awesome, man. Thanks for that. Now if you would help me type up these lease agreements, I would love you forever." Sure he would.
"Yeah, no. That's why you hired Sara. Where is she, anyway?" I asked as I glanced over at the empty desk opposite his by the door.
"She called in sick again. I've got new tenants coming in this afternoon and I'm way behind." He typed something on his keyboard.
I broke down the boxes and stacked them for recycling. “That girl's always sick. Something else is going on, man. I think she’s totally playin’ you. I keep telling you to hire a full-time manager, not just a part-time worker. You know you like to fix things more than run the office.” I walked over to hisdesk and sat on the edge while he typed some more.
