“Yeah, but I’d think they’d have to be in dire need of money to even think about murder. I have found out that, just as we thought, neither Thad nor Geneva lived at home. Thad’s got an apartment in Highland and Geneva shares one with two roommates in Cherry Creek.”


“If we could get into them, we might learn something,” Myles said. “I wonder if Detective Sands realizes the Newells’ Mercedes is missing. Or more to the point, I guess, that it wasn’t in their garage. You checked before we broke into the house. Remember?”
