“I don’t know how much resolution you guys have on the feed,” Jason said once the busted wires were gone, off to float into the vast emptiness, “but the boards are good. The connectors are fine. We got really lucky this time.”

A sigh of profound relief escaped him, drawn up from somewhere below his sternum. They had gotten lucky, John agreed one hundred percent. “So, this will be an easy fix?”

Jason chuckled with a warm sensuality in his ear. The other two didn’t bat an eye, and John hoped it wasbecause they didn’t know what that particular tone meant. “It’ll take me less time to install the new wires than it did taking out the bad ones.”
