Luckily, they’d found a great place that seemed to care about its patients. His dad had his own room, with four community living and kitchen areas in the large square building placed at each corner, while in the center space offered a salon, a workout room—open only when properly staffed—and a large activities room that could be converted to a theater for shows or set up with tables for parties and events. Even a few house cats lived there, and his dad loved being able to pet them.

Tiger had stayed at the cabin and seemed to greatly miss Graham’s father, meowing loudly for days after he’d first moved out. After some time, though, he transitioned to sleeping on Graham’s bed, accepting him as the “One Who Feeds Me.”

Today, the guys were taking his dad to a Royals game, as long as he could handle it. They took each day hour-by-hour, learning to go with the flow, depending on his dad’s needs.
