Maybe it’s seeing the similarities and the thoughts I’ve had related to debilitating genetic conditions, but this book definitely takes the cake for absolutely shattering my heart and simultaneously putting it back together stronger. It’s a beautiful short story will the added benefit of being relatable in many ways as a society we refuse to discuss.
