“Kamohoali’i has blessed us with a great feast. He talked to the dolphins and they helped him drive the fish into our waiting nets!” Kekoa exclaimed.
“Is this true?” the chief asked.
Before Sartin could answer, Akoni spoke. “We all witnessed it, Great Chief Pika. He swam to the open water with the dolphins. Then they turned around and drove the fish to the shore where the rest of us waited.”
The villagers looked in confusion as the four warriors and Maru nodded in agreement. The chief, followed by the rest of the tribe, dropped to their knees and bowed before Sartin.
“Kamohoali’i we know not why you have blessed us with your presence in our village, but we welcome youand thank you for the blessings on which you have bestowed on us.”
Sartin nodded in acknowledgement of the prayer. The villagers shouted for joy in unison. Some of the other men took over driving the fish all the way to the village. The four warriors jockeyed for a favored position near Sartin.
