Chapter 7

“You are aware of the fact, though, that at some point it is going to show and people will start to notice,” Baron clarified. He used his soothing voice, the one that made it clear he thought Jack was not at all aware of this.

“Ah. Yeah. I’ll…tell them then.” Or not, he added in his head.

In the meantime, Callum leafed through the brochures he had collected that morning and made inquiries. He found a witch outside of town who was open-minded enough to agree to see Jack the next morning. It wasn’t as if they could just waltz into the nearest gynecologist’s practice and have Jack undergo a pregnancy screening; at least not without stirring the wrong kind of commotion.
