Chapter 10

“Yes, I am,” Jack leaned up to press a light kiss on the other man’s neck. “I’m all yours. But don’t you forget: You’re all mine, too.”

This time the answer was but a guttural growl. Almost instantly, Callum’s mouth found the sensitive spot on Jack’s neck. His lips closed around it, but then quickly withdrew, just as Jack expected to feel teeth on his skin.

“Don’t hold back,” he pleaded. “I need you to let go with me.”

“I can’t.” Callum all but whimpered, his face pressed against Jack’s cheek.

“I’m not some fragile human you need to constantly protect, Callum.” Jack turned his head, so Callum was forced to look at him. “I’m an angel. I can take you. Will you trust me to trust you, please?”

He saw something in Callum’s face then. Some last wall crumbling, some resolve, and the next thing Jack knew, he was pressed violently against the refrigerator, Callum’s knee wedged between his thighs, his teeth scraping along the line of Jack’s jaw, eyes wild and ferocious.
