The men laughed again and Mac pulled away his hands, but they couldn’t contain the laughter, and every time they looked at each other, they chuckled. Soon Kevin, wiped away tears from his eyes.
He hadn’t had a bad case of the giggles since he’d been young, but it seemed Mac was having just as much trouble. Either way, they couldn’t quit smiling. The waitress showed up with their beer and sticks and Kevin filled their glasses.
“Well, I have to say this date is fun so far,” Kevin announced, feeling more at ease. He grabbed a hot mozzarella stick and took a bite. It wasn’t until he started chewing and saw Mac staring at him over his beer, eyebrows raised, that he realized what he’d said.
