He swallowed nervously, an idea beginning to take shape. Dare he do it? Couldhe do it?
When he heard the click of Derrick’s boots on their way back Seth decided it was now or never. He waited until Derrick was in range, then reached out from the stall and grabbed Derrick by the front of his shirt. There was a yelp of surprise as well as a clatter, Derrick dropping the container he’d been carrying. Seth didn’t give him any warning or a chance to speak, dragging him into the stall and kissing him.
It was quick, little more than a tease, but enough for Seth to get it out of his system. The kiss ended, with some reluctance, almost as soon as it began. He didn’t even bother to look Derrick in the eye as he vacated the stall, nearly tripping over the discarded items in the aisle.
The brief encounter was meant to silence burning curiosity. However, as Seth practically ran to his office, he realized that all he’d managed to do was stir the flames.3
