“Lobster spaghetti with brandy sauce,” Clement clarified when Kyle inquired what the dish was supposed to be. “The lobster meat has been shredded into large chunks from the shell. Less messy that way.”
Kyle nodded. “That’s really thoughtful.”
Clement beamed. “We should eat now. I’m sure you must be hungry. I’m definitely starving.”
Kyle didn’t need to be told twice, and he moaned in amazement when the burst of flavor exploded in his mouth. The dish was incredible. He could tell the dish included various spices to achieve its delicious taste, but he was no foodie. He couldn’t pinpoint exactly what spices had been utilized, but the final product was heaven on earth. He jumped a little when music started playing in one corner of the room. He gaped when he noticed what appeared to be a full orchestra performing for him and Clement. He stared at Clement in astonishment.
“Clement, that’s…”
Clement smiled. “I told you. I’m trying to be romantic.”
