Painting wasn’t hard, right? Get a few supplies and nothing to it. Just like coloring except on the walls.He just had to decide on colors. Which meant picking up some of those sample cards, coming home, and holding them up to see what caught his eye.

With that in mind, he ambled along Main Street, noticing the lack of people out and about. Temperatures were warm, but not meltingly hot. Average, he supposed, for June in Wyoming. He’d suffered worse. At least his house had air conditioning. That was a blessing. Though he didn’t use it except on the toastiest of days. The fresh air wafting in from the windows normally was enough to air out the place and treat him with an abundance of interesting scents of the outdoors.

He entered the door of the business, took a second for his eyes to adjust to the light, then scanned the area. His nose picked up on an all too familiar scent a second before his gaze landed on TJ.
