Donovan is the new guy in town, a polar shifter, harboring a big secret. He’s a big city bear who moved to the tiny town of Forgotten, Wyoming, in hopes of finding peace. What he finds is poison ivy and angry wasps.<br><br>TJ, a grizzly shifter, is the local doctor with a past. He’s found a home in the country, but lacks happiness and a sense of belonging. “I agree.” TJ pinched his nose. Being divided on the two fronts were just about more than he could handle. “I’ve got a new problem here.”


“Donovan witnessed a murder and testified against the killer. Seems that guy escaped prison yesterday.”


“You said it.” TJ glanced in the direction of the hallway. “I can watch over Donovan, but we’re weak on this side when it comes to searching for the hunter. The Filberts are doing the best they can, but they’re elderly and not as mobile as they used to be.”


“I’ll see if anyone else can be spared to send your way. Any word from Jonah?”


“That bothers me.” Rigby’s words spoke of grave concern.


“You need help with your situation, you just holler.”


“I’ve got Donovan’s issue under control. I’ll keep in touch if I hear or catch any clues about the hunter.”
