Chapter 6

“Got wet thinking about him, did you?”

“That’s not what I mean, Spyros.” Radhika sighed. “He also showed me that sketch. The one that looked like Nate?”

“You thought that, too?”

“Yeah. But the thing is…I think I might know who it is.”

That had Spyros sitting up.

“You what? You think you know who he is?”

“I don’t know a name, and it didn’t come to me until just now when I found the number.”

“Number? What number?”

“Someone gave me his number a couple of nights ago. It was the same night Lisa was killed. He looked a little bit like the sketch, and he gave me some weird vibes. I wasn’t sure about him at all, but I took his number. I thought he would blow up at me if I didn’t.”

Spyros felt the shiver go up his spine. If the killer had given Radhika his number the same night as the most recent victim had been killed, then the police could be able to track the number.

Either that or Radhika ended up being the next victim.

Spyros clambered off the bed, hurrying towards the door.
