“At least you’re not accusing Spyros again.”
Michael grunted.
“You’re still smarting about that, are you?”
“Mikey, Spyros is as honest as they come. He acts like he’s hard, but that man is a real softie. Radhika was like a little sister to him.”
Michael had figured that out for himself. There was a softer side that Spyros kept bottled up. He was itching to see it more.
“I’ve already figured out that Spyros isn’t the killer, especially as he was on the phone with Radhika when she was attacked. But his name keeps popping up and I can’t ignore it.”
Annmarie chuckled.
“Thinking with the wrong brain again?”
Michael rolled his eyes.
“Oddly enough, you’re not the first one to say that.”
“Glad to know great minds think alike.”
“Lorraine was the one who said it.”
Annmarie laughed.
“She’s smarter than I thought.”
Michael was too tired for a retort.
