In the meantime, I plan to meet with Jason and Cooper, the brother-in-law and the head guy, next month. When I’m back from my next cruise.”


“That’s really great. I’m so happy for you. What’s the name of this company? I wonder if I’ve heard of them.”


“It’s called THE Company. The ‘THE’ stands for the name of one of the guys who was supposed to be part of the original group who started it, but died in action before they had a chance.”


Both men remained quiet for a moment, Noah sending up a quick prayer for all the guys lost while protecting the nation. It was something you never got over, no matter how long ago you left the uniform.
