And I’ve had conversations with Margaret Porter, the nurse in charge of the maternity ward when you were born, and her information—copies of the guest logs—indicates that he was, actually, there when you were born.” Marlin said. He put his hand on Vin’s shoulder. “I believe your father might be this man. His name is Jonah Spenser.”


“That I don’t know, yet. I thought you’d want to know what I found.”
