“Focus,” he faux-scolded.

I thought about his question for a few moments. “I’m really attracted to how close they are. How they’re not afraid to show the world what they mean to each other. They’re clearly capable of deep emotion. I love how different they are but complement each other perfectly. Like two halves joined together.”

“Or two pieces of a three-piece puzzle?”

“Maybe.”

“It seems pretty straightforward to me,” Drew said.

“How so?”

“You’re very interested. You should see the look on your face when you talk about them. Go to them. Tell them about your fears and concerns. I’m no expert, but my guess is a three-way relationship requires even more communication than when only two people are involved. And you know what they say: start something the way you want it to continue. In this case: talking. Lots of talking.”
