I found myself in a barbaric competition between Neanderthals. I’m mad, so mad! Furious, I’d say. And not because Pete is behaving like a caveman, but also because Mark’s showing himself to be even worse, and they both almost forgot about me. They talked about me without either wondering if I could understand them or not.

Sure, Pete knows I can read lips, but he never looked at me, never showed me I was part of the argument. Mark didn’t know and talked about me like I was an unanimated object, and that really gets on my nerves.
