As Dean asked so nicely, Jay said, “I think you’re too arrogant for your own good at times. I think, mostly, you have good reason to be. You’re good-looking, charming, funny, sexy, and you know it. Someone should have put you over their knee long ago. Not that I believe anyone has ever attempted it.”

Dean’s expression was priceless. Jay paused before saying what Dean waited for.

“I love you. You know that. If you need me to say it, fine. I love you. I probably always will, no matter how much you walk over me.”

A frown appeared and vanished in an instant. “You know the only way someone could put me over their knee now is if I let them.”
