He raised his hands and stared at them, he knew not why. Oh, they were shaking.

A wild giggle threatened. Jay formed fists, lowered his arms to his sides. The things April said refused to sink in. Jay’s intention to speak with her later struck him as too little too late. If she distrusted Dean, why didn’t she at least trust her own brother? Did she think him that blind? That stupid? She didn’t understand either of them, at all
