As they cooled off, Dean just had to satisfy his curiosity. “Tell me, Marco, what made you so sure that you wanted to talk to me as soon as I walked in?”

“I saw you waiting in line behind me. I just had to meet you. I have been coming here for years, and I’ve never met anyone I was interested in. Then I saw you, and somehow, I knew you were different. I waited at the top of the stairs so that I would get to meet you before someone else did. I was afraid someone else would take you away before I got my chance.”

Oh, yeah, thought Dean, I noticed all the guys lining up to take me away ever since I got here in Provincetown.He laughed to himself.

“What’s funny?” asked Marco.

“You. You’re funny. How could you possibly find me more attractive than all these other guys in the room?” Dean asked, laughing again.
