“So what are we going to do today? What are your responsibilities at the convention?”
“Oh, they’re all dead to the world right now after partying until one in the morning. They have to attend a seminar at ten, then lunch at noon. After that they’re pretty much on their own, so we’ll have the afternoon together. I’ll show you around my town.”
“Good. I’d like that. I’ll just go out and explore a bit this morning while you’re busy.”
They finished their breakfast and Marco headed back downstairs to attend to his guests. Dean dressed for the cold winter day and walked out of the hotel back toward the train station, being careful to retrace his steps from the previous evening. He didn’t want to get lost again and figured that as long as he was able to find the train station, he should be alright.
