When PI Jake Marshall fails to stop the abduction and subsequent murder of a client who was being stalked, he vows to do everything in his power to identify the man responsible. He'll need all the help he can get, including Kelly, his partner in the agency, and Russ Foster, a library security guard he met at a local bar ... with whom he's becoming personally involved.<br><br>Soon, it becomes even more imperative they find the stalker when a friend of Jake's also disappears and everything points to the stalker as his abductor.<br><br>Can Jake and Russ stop the stalker before he kills again? Stalker

Jake grinned. “Nope, no brothers. These two may have seen the man we’re looking for, so they’re the ones you be working with.” He introduced Paul and Todd. “This is Alex, Alan’s boyfriend. I’m hoping when you come up with a picture he might remember seeing the guy hanging around when he and Alan went to a club, or clubs. Kelly and Russ are here as part of my team.”


“Okay. Let’s get to work.” She took a seat at her computer, gesturing for Paul and Todd to join her. When they had, and she’d opened the program she’d use, she said, “Starting with what I have so far with the chin and the one cheek, we’ll work on the basic shape of his head.”


An hour later she saved what they’d come up with, then leaned back, looking at the two men. “Is there anything more you want to add?”


Paul studied the picture, and then shook his head. “As far as I remember, that’s the man who hit on me a couple of times at Donovan’s.”


“Does he ring any bells with you?” Jake asked Alex.
