When PI Jake Marshall fails to stop the abduction and subsequent murder of a client who was being stalked, he vows to do everything in his power to identify the man responsible. Stalker

“I want the names and phone numbers of those men,” Ogden said sharply, setting the picture on top of a folder on his desk. “Then you’re to back off. Despite what you may think, this is a police matter. Your interference might jeopardize Mr. Sutton rather than help him.” Looking as if he was biting into a lemon, he added, “I appreciate that you did this. It saved me some time and leg-work.”


“I have a vested interest in this,” Jake replied. “Alan’s boyfriend is my client. He hired me to find him if possible. The faster that happens, the better.”


“I get that, but I’ll reiterate. Leave this to the police. Now, if you don’t mind, I have to leave.” Ogden finally smiled, albeit a small one. “Even if you do mind…”


“No problem. Would you at least…Never mind, you won’t.”


“Let you know what I find out? I’ll consider it, because of this.” Ogden tapped the picture.
