Gymnast Frank Bethune arrives on campus already enamored with the star tight end, Bill Billingsly. Although the chances of them meeting are slim, fate draws them together, and their friendship turns to love.<br><br>Ever since childhood, Bill has dreamed of playing professional football. Though high risk to his potential career, Bill would seek out clandestine encounters with other guys when and where he could, but the first time he spots Frank, Bill knows he is someone special, someone he could possibly share a life with. A little after four there was a rap on Mark and Frank’s dormitory room door. Frank opened it. Jim and a sneering Dennis walked in.


“I guess we’re here to discuss terms of surrender,” Dennis said. He looked around the room. “God, I forgot what a dump this dorm is.”


“So, what do you want?” Frank asked.


“You break off with Bill and we won’t say a word. Or let this picture mysteriously appear in The Daily.” Dennis pulled out his phone and showed Frank a picture of the graffiti they’d sprayed, involving Bill. “But if you don’t, I’ll make sure the finger is pointed at you.”


“When the cops start their investigation, we’ll come forward and say we have proof it was you. The cops will come and question you. Once Bill finds out you were responsible for his missing out on a pro career, he’ll be devastated. I’ll be there to console him.”


“And just how do you intend to implicate me?”
