Years ago, Daniel fell in love with his best friend, only to be left devastated when that friend abruptly left, never to be seen again. Since then, Daniel has built up a quiet life he dearly loves, working as a veterinarian and spending free time with his coven.<br><br>When he arrives to celebrate Solstice, however, he learns Michael is moving back home. Solstice Dance

“Michael, take me at my word. I still want you, but we should go back to the circle before I mess up and get carried away. We should take this slow. I’m still kind of in shock at seeing you again,” Daniel admits.


“One more kiss? I promise I won’t try and take if farther than that.” Michael somehow pulls off looking hot as hell and adorable at the same time.


Daniel thinks it through. “One more kiss. No groping, no grinding—just a kiss.”


He wants to resist. Tonight has been a lot. He never thought he’d see Michael again, and now within a couple of hours he’s agreed to start up a relationship again. It’s fast. It feels right, but it’s fast. He could have a night of sex, but he wants more than that, even if it’s foolish.


“Agreed,” Michael says softly, and he touches Daniel’s face again gently, keeping space between their bodies, so that just his fingertips are pressing into Daniel’s skin.
