Chapter 24

Cameron needed to remember why Reid and Jason were here in the first place. They were here because of Cameron’s family drama, not for flirtation and not for anything beyond that. Cameron had accepted, when his last relationship had ended, that he probably wasn’t cut out for romance anyway. Sex, sure. Romance, no, and Cameron didn’t like the whole casual sex thing.

All of which was putting the cart before the horse again. Jason hadn’t expressed any interest, he wasn’t going to express any interest, and Cameron didn’t want him to. Cameron had a hot gay werewolf on his couch, which amounted to nothing more than an irritating houseguest. That was all.

The next morning he woke up early, just as he’d planned, and got ready to go for a run. When he arrived downstairs he remembered why that wasn’t a great idea. Jason lay on the couch, composed in sleep, face more relaxed than Cameron had ever seen it.
