Lucas glanced at his watch. “I have a meeting with my advisor in about forty-five minutes. I stopped here to kill some time, though I should probably head out so I can find her office. I’ve yet to see the campus.”
“I can take you to your advisor’s office and after, if you have time, I can give you an unofficial tour,” Evan offered. “Do you have your course schedule?” Lucas nodded. “Then I can show you where all your classes are located and maybe a few other helpful places, like the quad, the student union, and the cafeteria. Let’s take a look at your schedule.”
Lucas retrieved the printout of his course schedule—he worked better with physical paper in his hand than information on an electronic device—and smoothed out the creased paper on the table between them. Evan leaned over the paper and read over the schedule of classes Lucas blindly selected online several hundred miles away, two months before.
