“Wait, what?” Kenneth growled as Karl frog-marched him out. He was still struggling to straighten up. “You’re arresting me and not him? What the fuck?”
“I’m not arresting you. Yet.”
“Then why the fucking cuffs?”
“It’s to keep you from going back and having another go. It’s for your own safety.” Karl led him down the corridor. “You’re going to the hospital, Kenneth. You’re going to need treatment.”
“Does that treatment also include you sucking me off?”
That could have been the drink talking, but Karl knew it was part of Kenneth. That part of him had never gone away.
“Nice to see you haven’t grown up.” He opened the door and yanked Kenneth along with him. “Come on, you. And don’t you dare puke up in the car or I’m sticking you with the valeting bill.”4
Nurse Alice Elliott hung up the phone and turned to Deepan.
“We’ve got another patient coming in under police escort.”
