Recently docked after a voyage abroad, Emmett wants only to find a warm bed and good food, for himself and the cabin boy he's taken into his care. Thomas smiled—a slow, dark smile that snaked over his face from lips to eyes and while it did cause emotion to slice through Emmett’s body, Emmett wasn’t entirely sure the reaction was on the side of pleasure. Thomas tilted his chin, met Emmett’s lips with his own parted ones, and as they found pressure between them, Thomas slipped his tongue into Emmett’s mouth.
