Tim finally walked through the door of the coffee house, and as much as I hate to admit it, he was looking pretty good. Tim had been going to the gym for the past year, and it was really paying off. His stomach had really trimmed down, and you could see the beginnings of a really great chest through his shirt. He tried to get me to go with him, but with my job and other responsibilities, I just didn’t have the time.
Tim also appeared to be taking the time to dress himself nicely, which made me wish I had thrown on something other than shorts and flip flops.
“Sorry, I would have been here faster, but my car broke down and I can’t afford to fix it yet,” Tim declared with a slight scowl.
“Well, I’m sure Charlie has a skateboard or a ten-speed you can use,” I fired back.
“Really, you’re gonna start with that, here in public. Fine, I left you for a younger guy. You need to get over it. You’ve had enough time.”
