“Okay, fine. How about no staying overnight?”


“Hmmm, I guess we can try that out for a while. I mean, ‘cause you will be paying half of the rent, so it isn’t fair to stop you from doing anything.”


“I’ll be what now?” Tim asked, bewildered at the thought.


“Paying rent. It isn’t fair for either of us to have such harsh rules on each other when we will both be paying equal amount of the rent and bills.” The thought of extra money was actually starting to warm up to me, but Tim looked like he was about to lose his lunch.


“Do you think we can talk about the whole Charlie coming over thing again?” Tim asked, holding his stomach.
