As much as I cared about Bobby, he was the more attractive and outgoing between us: the one that usually attracted the most attention. I guess I was just worried that Kellan would be drawn to Bobby more, and want to hang out with him instead of me. Sure, I was thinking like a fifth grader, but it had happened many times before, and the last thing I wanted to feel like was the third wheel.

“Oh, my, he is as yummy as you described,” Bobby said as his eyes lit up. We were sitting across from each other at a booth, which Bobby insisted on getting instead of a table. My back was to the door, so I had to turn in order to see what he was looking at, but I kind of already knew. In walked Kellan, arms and chest bulging out of his T-shirt, while the jeans he had on looked like they were about to be ripped apart by his mammoth legs.

Kellan walked over to the table and greeted us with a big smile. “Well, hey there, Mr. Model. Look at you with your fancy new haircut.”
