Chapter 35

Kaden clenched his jaw, and his fists. “We’ll talk about this later.”

“Talk about whatever you want, wherever you want, just stop trying to interfere with how I run a business.”

Kaden left, and Lennon was able to turn back to his guests.

They conducted the meeting in one of the conference rooms, and Lennon found himself slowly relaxing as he heard the dulcet tones of his first language. The accent was different, of course, but then again, he rarely met anyone from Saint-Nazaire. It was enough to hear and speak French.

The first part of the interview went as planned. They discussed Interior and the company’s products, and their plans for expansion. They asked questions about his background as a French American, and how it made him different from his peers. They talked about his own financial acumen and made a point of discussing his strategies in both long and short term investments.
