Ben hated fact that Lennon couldn’t completely trust him, but he understood it. He had a lot of work to do. He’d spend the rest of his life rebuilding that trust with his love. And Lennon had been very careful to make sure he understood that he still loved him, and he saw a path forward. The past wasn’t a deal breaker. It was just an explanation, when he got uptight.


He knew Lennon and Rada were setting something up with regards Interior’s future. He didn’t think it would involve Interior staying in the United States. Ben would cross that bridge when he came to it. He didn’t like it. They hadn’t exactly consulted him. He was confident that, knowing what Lennon knew now, Lennon would invite Ben along when they left. He would wait to pry until then. He didn’t want to push the issue when he was still building trust.
